Was a fun day with Adrian. He is very knowledgeable about the palace and Areas that we visited. He did a good job conversing in 2 languages for the day!
Nice planned trip. Flexible to external issues (running event the same time with our trip). Very good guides!
The guide was correct. I think the explanations were more than enough. At the beginning of the visit, there is a tremendous chaos, until they decide who gets on each bus. We were 4 people, they told us on one bus that we were not going to get on that bus. It was another one. Finally they made us get on that bus. But everyone had already boarded and we had to put them in the last seats, where the space is extremely uncomfortable. In addition, they allowed couples who were going together to occupy seats in different rows. In the window seat. In short, very bad organization. The experience announced the visit to Quinta da Regalería, which did not happen.

The guide Daniela is very knowledgeable and passes on all the information in a calm and relaxed manner. She is always attentive and respects everyone's particularities. She cares about everyone's well-being, whether they are children or the elderly. The tour was exceptional, the beauty of nature and the buildings, but it was the guide Daniela who made all the difference. Score 10 for this guide.

The tour was really good and we had a really good tour guide who kept the group engaged and on time. Our only complaint about the experience was that the description said we were going to visit Quinta Da Regaleira and we did not go there. Would have been a 5/5 but giving a 4 as we did not visit the Quinta and it was something we really wanted to do.
It was super convenient being chartered around to the top sights. Our guide was super friendly, and knowledgeable. The only thing that brought this from a 5 star to 4 is the confusion with the bus when we got to Pena Palace. Because our group was so large, we had to split it into two groups. The first group of 25 was able to fit on the bus, but our group of 17, was asked to walk since it would likely be another 30 minutes until the next bus. It wasn't a big deal for most of us, but there were some on the trip who struggled with the climb, and our guide didn't slow down. When we got to the top, I had to insist we wait for the other members of our group. The whole thing was a bit chaotic and unorganized. I think it would have made sense to prioritize those with mobility issues first, and ensure they had a spot on the bus first. I also think it would have been nice if our guide had told us there were no bathrooms during the 45 minute tour of Pena Palace, and provide time for us to use it beforehand.
The guide is one of the best i
The guide and the tour was super but he left us the bus because the directions were not clear, we had to take a cab for 30 euros to get there. The tour is not clear I thought we were going to go to a lot of places and only went to 3, it said it included wine and cake and they didn't give us anything either.

Easy to buy tickets, I reccomend not going with a group so you aren't rushed through, we went solo and really enjoyed taking our time taking pictures and soaking it all in.
The experience was outstanding regarding the quinta da Regaleira, beautiful the garden part all to discover with the caves as icing on the cake is beautiful fairy tale atmosphere. On the other hand, less beautiful was the visit of the Pena Palace, the palace very nice to photograph in the outside part but how the visit inside is organized I did not like it: it is a perennial and endless line to see two rooms and you do not see them well because you have to keep walking as there are so many people.

Very crowded and signage poor as to where to go to start inside tour of the palace. Having to start audio guide chapters was very annoying, it would be better if it flowed from one to the next.
The ticket said Transport included, wish we had clear instructions that we needed to buy additional transport tickets from the station to Sintra, we kept informing them that transport was included, not understanding that was only once you were inside the palace grounds
Upon purchasing the tickets I received a detailed instruction of visiting the palace. It helped to plan the visit on time.
Although a limited number of visitors are admitted, the Palacio da Pena is completely overcrowded. This makes the waiting times to and inside the palace very long. I do not recommend visiting the palace. This is mass tourism of the worst kind. Visitors need to be spread out much more between the Moorish Palace and other palaces.

The castle visit was enjoyable, albeit somewhat short and intense, because of the masses of people trying to navigate the path cordoned off throughout the building. We spent a couple of hours going around the park, but you could easily spend double that, if you really want to explore the whole park. Make sure to wear very comfortable walking shoes and to be dressed for the day's weather. Overall, a fantastic site to visit!

Our guide was very knowledgable. pleasant and spoke English very well and the palace was a fantastic building. Although it was very busy the queue moved at an acceptable speed.
Overall the experience & tour was incredible. Our guide was very knowledgeable and answered all questions plus of course gave us an amazing historical tour surrounding the property. Our tickets were for 4pm & we had to park at the bottom of the mountain - we were late given traffic and we practically ran to get to the designated spot at 4pm. No guide was there - we asked many people finally calling Headout in which the rep was very helpful but told us our guide was "running late" and wouldn't be there until 4:30. We finally spotted him about that time and he told us our booking was 5pm. He took pictures of our tickets clearly stating 4pm - to us this was a huge error as we also had plans following this tour that then were delayed. Also the tour was supposed to be 1.5 hours and was just over 1 hour. Felt we were a bit rushed.
Guide was GONE! at exactly 2:00 Support gave me a reference number and said talk to the ticket office They said the guide had nothing to do with them
Although the guide was very willing and did her best and even made the effort to speak in French. She just wasn't up to scratch. She even indicated that she wouldn't be taking the tour inside the palace, even though that was what we were expecting. She decided to take the tour inside. She even told us that she was obliged to do this job. It's not up to the standard of other guided tours we've been on and other guides on site.

The Palace, its historical background and the view are all unique and fascinating. I highly recommend this tour.

Palace is worth seeing
Would absolutely NOT recommend. I got to the meeting point an hour early and no one showed up with a sign. I asked around and no one was able to help. I called the support team and they kept telling us to catch up with the guide although we had no idea what they looked like and are obviously not familiar with the layout inside of the gates. No one came to grab us even after all of that. Overall, terrible experience and did not get the services I paid for. Asked for a refund and once again, they don't care and did not help. As a Canadian, I would NOT recommend.
The guide didn't speak English well, which made it very difficult to understand the stories and explanations she wanted to give us. What's more, the tour was poorly organized. We had to stop in narrow rooms and wait for the guide to explain things that could have been told before or after we passed through. They were full of other visitors who wanted to pass through, which made the experience very uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the guided tour wasn't worth it. In addition, the quality of the restoration of the Pena Palace, especially inside, left something to be desired. I noticed wires sticking out, cameras badly embedded in the walls and even some cloths and plastic sheeting scattered around the palace. I believe there is room for improvement.

Nothing! I felt rubbed! Do not use this provider EVER!
We were very fortunate, Able to drive up get parking close, The guided was well worth it, Learning the backstories and moving through quickly, Our guide was fantastic, only downside was a light mist of rain and a fog, We also went back into Sintra ang ad dinner at a great tapas place by the railway, Cant wait to come back to portugal and see the other sights nearby there
It was well organized and our English speaking guide , Mary Ann, was outstanding. The only small issue was the instructions for where to meet the guide were unclear. Thanks
The tour itself was fine however the guide did not make herself visible. We had to ask where to go and security pointed out where we should be and who our guide was. She did not take into consideration anyone's physical ability to walk up the hill. She started walking up the hill when I had to point out that my mother had an ankle injury and would need the bus. She then held the group for a further few minutes while another tour member finished a personal conversation. The tour left 15 minutes late. She was knowledgeable and pleasant however she could have communicated/engaged better initially.
Our tour guide was knowledgable and passionate about the Portuguese history as it relates to the palace. Was quite enjoyable and brought a lot more interest to visiting the Palace. The only downside of the tour was that the palace was quite crowded and there were some very aggressive tourists around us who pushed us out of the way to get in( no one in our group).
Loved the tour and the information. Don't love the meet up directions. All of us were confused by the directions sent to us and where we were supposed to meet the guide. Who the guide was - a name would have been nice and also some kind of identifier on his/her person. We were there the 30 minutes early and thought someone might have been there at that time to greet us - if we even knew where that should have been. We almost left to go up to the palace with the idea maybe that was the meeting location. Please fix this in the future and you will be solid.

The palace grounds were amazing. It took hours to get there on crowded trains and bus. The bus was stupidly expensive. The crowd in the palace made trying to see things difficult and the employees keep telling everyone to move along. I wanted to walk through the gardens/forest to the moorish Castle but the trail was closed and there was no guidance for an alternate route, so we walked along the road, dangerous and choking with gas and diesel fumes. The moorish castle was fun and not so crowded. Great that one could climb on the walls, etc. But most was closed, although the price was the same. Overall, I saw little value in the day although we made the best of it.
