Getting to Pena Palace by Car

Driving Route
You can travel by car to Pena Palace, but it isn’t recommended as it is a small town with narrow and restricted roads. Still, if you’re driving, take the N249 road from Lisbon and turn into Av. Conde Sucena 2 até ao Bairro Alto da Boavista. Turn into N375 for 20 minutes and then turn right onto Escadinhas de Santa Maria 6.
Take the Rampa do Castelo 12-2 and turn into Estrada da Pena, leading to the Palace. Alternatively, take the route IC30 from Mafra or route EN9 via A5/Cascais if you’re coming from Cascais.
